The system
Scroll to watch the energy move through your system, the same path it takes every sunny day. NABCEP-certified installers design and wire every stop, and we file the permits and the utility interconnection so the circuit is legal the day it goes live.
Sunlight arrives as photons, more raw energy than your whole street needs at once.
Silicon cells on your roof convert that light directly into DC electricity.
The inverter turns DC into the AC power your home actually runs on.
Extra power charges the battery so you have it after dark, sample capacity shown at survey.
Your home draws clean power first, automatically, before pulling anything from the grid.
What you don't use flows out to the grid, and the meter credits you for it under net metering.
The money story
Every month without solar, you rent your power from the utility, at whatever rate they set next. Every month with solar, you're paying down equipment you own, on a roof you already own.
NEM // NET METERING, PLAIN ENGLISH
When your panels make more than the house is using, the extra flows back to the grid and you get credited for it. At night, or on a cloudy day, you draw from the grid and use those credits. Your bill becomes the gap between what you made and what you used, not the whole thing.
Figures shown are illustrative samples for demo purposes only, not a quote. Real savings depend on usage, roof, rate plan and system size, and get calculated for your actual home during a free site survey.
Real questions
If your roof has roughly 10 to 15 years of life left, most installers will put panels on it as-is. If it's older than that, we'll usually recommend re-roofing first, since pulling panels off later to redo the roof costs more than doing it once. We check roof age and condition during the free site survey before we design anything.
We do. Building permits and the utility interconnection application both get filed by us, not you. You approve the paperwork, we handle the back and forth with the city and the utility, as your C-46 licensed contractor.
Panels alone lower your bill. A battery adds backup power during an outage and lets you use your own solar power at night instead of pulling from the grid. It's a real add, not a required one. We size it to your actual usage if you want one, sample capacity options shown at survey.

Sample payback window for a typical system here is 7 to 9 years, depending on your usage, roof and current rate plan. That number gets calculated for your actual house, with your actual bill, during the free site survey, not guessed from a brochure.
One site survey. A real design for your actual roof, not a generic estimate. If the numbers don't work for your house, we'll tell you before you spend a dollar.
