Commercial Mechanical · C-4 / C-20 / C-36 · South Bay

We build the room that runs the building.

HVAC plants, hydronic piping, sheet metal and controls for commercial buildings. Designed, installed, started up, and kept running by one accountable mechanical sub.

SYS 01 · HVAC plants

Chillers, boilers, AHUs and RTUs: selected, set, and started.

We take plant equipment from submittal to startup: rigging plans, housekeeping pads, vibration isolation, combustion setup, and a documented commissioning handoff. Tenant improvement mechanical scopes run through the same desk, so the base building and the TI never fight each other.

  • Equipment selection with the engineer of record
  • Rigging, setting, and alignment
  • Combustion and refrigerant startup
  • TI mechanical scopes and as-builts

SYS 02 · Hydronic piping

Chilled, heating, and condenser water that balances the first time.

Welded and pressed hydronic mains, color-coded and labeled like the drawings say. We coordinate hanger points with structure, insulate to Title 24, and leave every circuit setter documented for the TAB contractor.

  • CHW / HHW / CW mains and risers
  • Welded, grooved, and pressed joining
  • Glycol systems and pump skids
  • Insulation and identification to spec

SYS 03 · Sheet metal and ductwork

Shop-fabricated duct, hung straight, sealed tight.

Rectangular and spiral duct fabricated to SMACNA standards, seismically braced, and leak-tested where the spec calls for it. Kitchen and lab exhaust get welded construction and access the fire marshal can actually inspect.

  • Rectangular and spiral trunk systems
  • SMACNA construction, sealed and tested
  • Kitchen grease and lab exhaust
  • Seismic bracing and supports

SYS 04 · Controls and BMS

A building that reports in, instead of surprising you.

BACnet controllers, sensors, and sequences written to match the design intent, with graphics your operators will actually use. We tie new equipment into existing front ends and clean up alarm floods left behind by the last integrator.

  • BACnet / Modbus controller installation
  • Sequences of operation and graphics
  • Sensor calibration and alarm rationalization
  • Retro-commissioning support

SYS 05 · 24/7 service

When the plant goes down at 2 a.m., the phone gets answered.

Around-the-clock dispatch for agreement customers, staffed by our own technicians, not an answering service that pages a stranger. Every truck carries the common failure parts for the equipment we maintain, because we logged your plant the day we signed the agreement.

  • 24/7 emergency dispatch
  • 4-hour response target for agreement customers (sample)
  • EPA 608 certified technicians
  • Quarterly plant condition reports

Planned maintenance

Breakdowns are a scheduling choice.

Equipment that gets filters, belts, and eyes on it four times a year almost never makes the 2 a.m. call. A Meridian agreement puts your plant on our calendar, so it stays off your incident log.

Sample agreement tiers, shown for demo. Real scopes are built from your equipment list.

Tier 01Filter Run

Quarterly filter and belt changes, coil rinse, condensate check, and a written condition note on every unit.

Most chosen · sample Tier 02Preventive

Everything in Filter Run, plus seasonal startup and shutdown, controls checks, refrigerant monitoring, and priority scheduling.

Tier 03Full Coverage

Preventive scope plus parts and labor on covered failures, 24/7 emergency response, and annual capital planning for aging units.
